Dr. Tom Mowle discusses his experience working in the strategy cell in Baghdad during the early phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A former member of the Air Force Academy faculty in the Department of Political Science, Tom served in the Air Force for 20 years. He stepped away from national security in 2008 to accept an appointment by the Colorado governor to lead the office that handles all the foreclosures in the state’s most populous county. Tom retired from the countywide position in 2019 and founded his own company Rampart Professional Solutions providing editing and research assistance services to other scholars, graduate students, and writers.

His book, The Vortex, will be available next year.
